Heres a reason... What goes in, comes out.... A analog sound sampled into the ASR , is a facsimile..... Thats hard to do... But also.. you can red line the AD (like they do in mastering...)... Simply... NO other company has the headroom in its AD... Nor in its DA in a sampler since.....(well, lets just say, 32bit isnt really the answer... follow?) . 12db boost for drums anyone? What ever you decide to do after that, its your choice.... I love my ASR.

That Pitch Shifter effect is *literally* what caused me to buy an EPS16+ in the first place back in 1993. I can't imagine life without it. You can speak live into a microphone with it and make your own voice sound like a munchkin or a gargoyle. It was the coolest effect ever. Still is, IMO.

I'm getting my hands on an EPSm. So your saying I can load and play sounds from EPS 16 and EPS 16 Plus but I will not get any effects? I'm needing to find some resource pages that will allow me to create a boot disk and sounds disks.
